When im in the mix id like to be able to throw in some air horns,lazers,and some vocals or other one shots is there a device that's specifically
built to do this?

plenty of devices out there but to find just one(s) you need is not so easy (the sounds that you are after i mean)

i guess basically you are after an input device (fx box), a delay and echo device like rdd 10 or rdd 20 or H&H echo tape delay are the ones i use
many marks of devices out there for fx too

perhaps a simple samplerdevice is more up your alley

yes i have the SE-10 siren
used it for many years, its not bad, but found another fx box more suited to my wishes some years back

I emailed them for quotes on all three
of them and im waiting for a reply,
Ive been looking for something like you said a simple
sampler where i could preferably load the sounds to a
memory card and assign them to each button i just found this SP-404SX and it looks promising.

i call it by his builders name a 'vibesmaster'

im very satisfied with it altho its not perfect
