"Rainy Night In Georgia" was written by Tony Joe White. Brook Benton had a hit with it. Another song recorded by Tony Joe White is "What Does It Take To Win Your Love", which was covered by Alton Ellis. I'm not sure if Tony Joe White actually wrote this song, though.
