Why the haughty reply "smiley", he said no disrespect intended, wrong is wrong right is right. Turn that frown upside-down; certainly better understanding leads to greater appreciation.

A lot of reggae lyrics are difficult to understand. I’ve had trouble with Toot & the Maytals “Sweet & Dandy”: “One more???.. ‘pon the wedding cake, twenty bottles of ???… wine, ?????????…. never been to school at all….”

Or how about the intro to Scotty’s “Draw your Brakes”: “Forward on pyaka, man ???.. and then go???..” What does that mean?

Another one is Clancy Eccles’ intro in “Fatty Fatty” just sounds like scatting but sometimes it sounds like he’s saying something like “Play on, play on”

What's wrong with singing along or trying to figure out the lyrics to a song? When I saw Bob Marley live in Germany and London nearly the whole crowd would chant along with him. "Woy-yo, woy-yo-yo-yo-yo!"
