One for the Moderators - Reggae on CD

Hi,

Just a question that I wanted to ask the people who run this excellent website.

Over the last few years I have picked up a lot of titles on CD which are listed on this website with details only of the vinyl releases.

I sold my vinyl collection a long time ago when having a family created a lack of storage space. I am always on the lookout to replace the vinyl that I had with their CD counterparts but am not sure of exactly what has been re-issued on CD.

The list I have is quite long so I won`t bore you with the details.

Anyway, the question. Is it possible to identify more of whats available on CD to add alongside the vinyl editions ? I know you are going to modify the site to help with clarity of styles etc and just wondered if this was a possibility.

I'm not a moderator, but the book "Rough Guide to Reggae" has thousands of important albums and tells you what format each can be found on. It is an ESSENTIAL book if you don't already have it.

Yes I have the book you refer to, and yes it does carry a lot of useful information. But there are many titles that I am seeing for sale on CD which are not shown as listed in either the book not on this website.

This is why I put out this thread as it makes me wonder what titles I haven`t seen on CD that have actually been released in this format.
