I need help! The song is called 'Taxi' and the lyrics were:

I posted same q about 5 years ago and got the answer, wrote it down and put it in safe place, spent 2 months lookin for record and gave up(long before youtube and file sharing was so popular)now can't remember where the safe place is or who the artist was that recorded it memory shot these days ya know!
Was a really wicked tune and haven't heard it for about 10 years!

and i was jus wondering why ambelique's tune never get a world known hit, but now i see its a cover of a r and b track. lol
i rate ambelique version still over the original, the original have nothing special in it, ambe.liq at least started a huge riddim to work with

I completely agree with you...to be honest I dont like the Original...Riddim is much nicer. what a bass and the drum....it fits perfectly to the smooth voice....
