the ethiopian bible is way different from king james or n.i.v.
ethiopian bible dont have as much books and words as the european have.
sameway european bible have entire books missing/wrong translation/ added misinformation and so on, its not easy to get through. you must really dislike europeanizm to see what really true ina it and what was addded later on.
everything that feels queer was added later on in vatican.
best thing is to learn aramaic or amharic to get a clear picture of what was happening in that time the european misintroduction only confuse the head. imagine a few guy trying explain a engin by looking only on the top side, cant work.

what is the meaning of Quedamawi ?

It means "first" in the title of a king. So what is in English "Haile Selassie I (the first)" would be in Amharic "Qedamawi Haile Selassie". It is only used in titles. The first in class e.g. would be andenya.

Well, google doesn't always give the best results. It certainly is Amharic though of course it may have it roots in Ge'ez like so many Amharic words. My Amharic dictionary doesn't give the meaning 'old' or 'holy' only the meaning 'first' as explained above. Holy means "qiddus".

I noticed different people have different translations to the same words. Same goes for religion I guess; different people read different bible versions; Different religions, different beliefs, different interpretations.

In the end, we all worship the same God.

sometimes reading parts of NT I wonder if it was a different story before but now chopped and remixed with lies & spices to a new order, must definatly be something of that kind
