Greetings!
I have added the ability for an user of the site, http://www.rootsvinylguide.com to categorize auction results into groups. I have written about this process in more detail here: http://www.rootsvinylguide.com/about/welcome
The more contributions we have, the cooler things we can do with the auction data. Take the example release of [George Faith - Super Eight](http://www.rootsvinylguide.com/releases/19). This from the perspective of the user generated release. If you were to view a regular [auction page](http://www.rootsvinylguide.com/99554) mapped to this release, you would now see related auctions. You can view the site from the perspective of all [user generated releases](http://www.rootsvinylguide.com/releases) as well.
If anyone has any ideas or feedback it would be greatly appreciated. Any anonymous user can contribute for the time being. There's still a lot of rough edges, but I was wondering if anyone was interested in helping out with something like this.
Many Thanks,
Jah Chicken

You have a great resource site, thanks. If only there was some way to get get more cross refernces of selling prices such as gemm, ernie b,reggaestore. And if possible to average out a price as well as a list of all pricing available .I know...loads of work.I think then a vinyl guide would be more accurate

Tron, that's a great idea. I have plans to sharpen up the ebay crawler and I'm certainly looking for other sources. A lot of stores don't make their sale "public". Although there be ways to get at that information by observing metrics like price and stock count, the data could be pretty undependable (speaking about ebreggae specifically). I'll definitely check out the other sources that you mentioned.

i always watch the last vinyl result...should be good to see more than 20 of them! maybe a page with the last day of new entry!
compliment for that website....1km over the rest

Thanks Rootikalist!
I definitely agree about a better view upon the last day (or even week/month) of auction results. I am considering making something like a 'in the past X days' filter that would allow you to conduct all the existing types of sorting/searching, but on a limited data set. This way people who visit the site often (like me!), could get more relevant and fresh data. Thanks again for using the site.
