How to get ROOTS ARCHIVES to update its albums listing?

Post by Vlad »

It must be a lot of work, so my suggestion is to ask for users contribution so a person can dedicate a couple months to do so

I would also only focus on LP, and remove all that is CD

Why would you remove all that is CD?

For whatever reason some people only collect in this format and to them knowing what is available on CD is just as relevant as a vinyl collector wanting to know about record releases.

First focussing on correcting all errors would be my first idea.

Absolutely not. Many of us collect music, not just records, and as Rootsman says, the CD listings are just as relevant as the LP listings.

some of us only collect CD's as to buy what we want on Vinyl would drive some of us even more broke than we already are.

CD: point taken! Its just that music as archived on this site was recorded and released in analog format (vinyl). So focusing on original media would be coherent.

Just do it all:

LP's, 12", 10", 7", CD, and bootleg tapes ;
