Did Bob marley ever recorded or visit channel one?

Bob never recorded at Channel One, but yes, he had been there. straight from those who worked there.

He recorded at Federal, Studio One, WIRL /Dynamics, Randys, Black Ark, Joe Gibbs and of course Tuff Gong.

No Tubbys, Treasure Isle or Channel One at least voicing AFAIK (?).
Even if his band members recorded everywhere.

Yeah he also clearly recorded in London when he was in exile from Jamdown and in Compass Point studios in Nassau, Bahamas I believe.

Not sure about Compass Point but at least 4 studios in London were used (some interesting anecdotes from the people who were passing thru). Sometimes for re-voicing, overdubs and mixing.
Of course, Criteria in Miami.
The first truly "jamaican" album (recorded, voiced, overdubbed and mixed entirely in jamaica) was "Survival" in 78 - 79.

Still, why no Channel One?
Maybe Island had a deal with Harry J. Or maybe he didn't want a 4 tracks studio (by the time Channel one went 16 tracks....he had Tuff gong built)

I meant the first truly Bob Marley "jamaican" album for Island Records ( international market)
Of course he did loads of albums before that in Jamaica for Studio one, leslie Kong / Dynamics, Lee Perry, etc....
