I just bought an LP called "Know it and do it" by a man called Billy Hutch on the Starspoint (or Stars Point) label.
Among the backing band called the Anointed : Horsemouth Wallace and Sly Dunbar at the drums, Junior Dan at the bass, Bobby Kalphat and Dennis Ferron for the piano, Harold Butler, Dennis Ferron and Gladstone Anderson at the organ, Scully Simms at the percussion, Headley Benett and Bobby Ellis at the horns, Keith Poppin at vocals and some others I can't identify with only initial for the surname.
The whole thing sounds early 80's roots and is recorded in Kingston but I can't find a year or a studio.
Does someone know something ?
Billy Hutch and the Anointed : what is this band ?

It was 1979 and at Aquarus studio in Jamaica. Did you enjoy the songs?

Hello Mr Hutchinson, big up to you and much respect!
Another little known singer/producer.
That LP sounds interesting, any chance of an repress?
