Ites everybody,
I'm curious to know what are the first recordings of the roots radics as a backing band for singers and who were the producers. Thanks
Ben

Re: First roots radics
I've always thought of the early Barrington Levy singles for Junjo Lawes like Collie Weed and Shine Eye Girl as some of the first Radics recordings(?) The early stuff featured Chinna, Santa and Gladdy Anderson, before Style took over the drums and the classic Radics lineup.
A gradual process, Bingy Bunny and Flabba Holt were in the Morwells and that band eventually became the Radics, about the time Sly and Robbie left Channel One.
