Bought these albums recently. Sorry about the last post, I didn't know how to display the covers.

That Finnigan and Ranking LP is mighty fine! Congratulations on that one. I also enjoy the Dillinger. The Tosh however leaves me a bit cold.

My last LP was probably a clean and tidy copy (to replace my old and worn out one) of Stranger Coles - 'Foward' In the Land of Sunshine (€19).

Stranger LP above has cool cover but the mix is no good INO. Go for this instead, where Stranger Cole tunes can be found with superior mix:

How is the Dillinger and Trinity album? I was going to buy that a while back, decided against it but now, in retrospect I think it may have been a wrong decision. I was thinking of getting it because Dillinger is one of my favourtie dancehall djs and I haven't heard enough of Trinity to be honest.

@Gozer
Good buy on the 'Lee Perry - Build the Ark' I love that album, find a lot of the tunes meditational. Lee Perry at his best.

@kalcidis
Yes I really like the Papa Finnigan and Dillinger album they are both very good. I concede that the Tosh album isn't his best (compared to a lot of his others Equal Rights, Bush Doctor etc..) and I think I get what you mean by 'it leaves you a bit cold'.

Oh and I forgot to say there are 1 or 2 black ark tracks on it (shelly with the electric belly, and forget the other one. don't have the record at hand at the moment )

Vlad; The mix is a bit muddy but I don't think it really takes away too much from the music. I've got the Half Moon-compilation too and it's incredible on its own but the Stranger Cole songs are different mixes (listen for example to »I'm Living« on both to compare).

RootsRockReggae; The Trinity & Dillinger is really great! Some great productions by Clem Bushay and the both deejays are in top form. I've really enjoyed the album a lot.

yet another really good album I sold for some stupid reason ages ago. I bet I got $2 for it. What I would give to have my old collection back! Ok, one thing I wouldn't give is the amount of money it would now take to replace them all! But, yeah, I remember that being a good one

I don't know if you was kidding or not with that $2 but I actually bought MY copy from someone in the US (or Canada?) for $2 on eBay! This was ... perhaps six years ago. Did I buy it off of you?

You can still get the Finnigan & Ranking for cheap though. Definitely less than $10 if you're patient.

That's good to know, I'll keep a look out. And it wasn't me that you bought it from, I sold it back in the early 90's, before I'd ever heard of such a thing as the web! :-)
