Jah Woosh RIP

Post by chapmanra »

It appears we have lost another, if largely unheralded, great artist. RIP Jah Woosh

I wonder why all these Jamaican artists die so young (murders and things like that not counted..)Look at Keith richards for example.. he lived like an animal. he even snored the ashes of his cremated father. Yet he is still doing fine. Same with for example Ozzy osbourne. He drunk 4 liter bottles of vodka per day at a certain point...

Yes loved Jah Woosh since the early 80's when i first bought the old Trojan LP "DJ Round Up" which contains 3 Jah Woosh tunes,-Ital Feast,Psalm 121 & Zion Sound.Such a shame & just when he was starting to reissue some of his music eg. the V/A Reggae Bakbone CD & Flabba Holt's Vision Of Africa on CD as well.
Really like his 2 King Tubby's In the Mix albums & Reggae Revive Classics is another good one.
It would be great if more of his Original Music catalog/re-releases could continue, as he produced some brilliant music.
