I recently got hold of this LP, and wondered if anyone knew any more about it. Mine hasn't got a sleeve so all the details I have are on the labels. It has some nice rootsy pre-digital dancehall tracks by Rod Taylor, Nitty Gritty, Anthony Johnson, Patrick Andy, Earl Sixteen and others. Producers credited as Eric F. George and D. Howard (Derrick Howard). Neither RA nor Tapir's have any info on the Black Link label. I would guess it was recorded around 1983/4 but would welcome any further information anyone has.
Thanks.

RKR has details of some singles on the label, but of these only Howard's 'Younger Generation' appears on the album.

produced by Derrick "Eric Bubbles" Howard, former member of the African Brothers. many of the tracks came out on JA 7"s as well. good LP, the Nitty Gritty tracks are phenomenal, and recently reissued by GOLD SHOP.

. I have a 12" on the Links label that i always wondered if had any connection...the artwork is very simliar. 2 hands chained together (one hand is open the other in a fish) compared to the black links which was 2 fists handcuffed. any1?
