I think its very hard 4 a white person to claim 2 b rasta because most reggae songs actually curse the white man so i think it would b depressing to follow to follow a religion that is against your colour.rasta is only 4 the BLACK.

However, Rastafari says, "UNTIL the color of a man skin is of no more significance than color of his eyes..."
This statement is made for the ears of all people, black or white, knowledgeable or naive to remind us all of the racist society worldwide, after all, we are currently living in a white mans world, so he (the white) does not need to even hear this!!

You don't have to go to 12 Tribes or other organisation to be Rasta. It's really between yourself and Jah. Jah will know, who are we to judge? There have been false rasta before, black and white.

If you dont respect rasta and the african-ness side of Jamaica culture, how will you EVER expect to fully appreciate the roots reggae??

Isn't everyone on this forum always going on about how they dislike "dancehall" and "digi" and "post-85" in favor of proper roots reggae, yet you're here literally dismissing rasta reasoning as "crap" ??
