Re: 5 songs that have blown your mind
a few (or more) years ago there was a load of 10s reissued with Gold after the label name, e.g. Channel One Gold, Lee's Gold and a few more of them.j j wrote:Hi Vtov yes the 10" version is good but i much prefer the 'echo-ey' mix on the LP with Don Carlos.
What is the 'Gold' Series you mention vtov , i don't recall seeing that label?
cheers

There was a thread on here saying the quality varied, but most I heard were good sound, including the Gladiators.

Re: 5 songs that have blown your mind
Ah RasClaude u just reminded me of another:
Errol Flabba Holt - Gimme Gimme and also the DJ/chanting cut by Prince Far I entitled "Concrete Column"..
Both killers with Horsemouth on drums...
AS for Danger Zone, are you referring to the mid-70's production, or Sly n Robbies 80's Taxi production??
I know the one I [personally] prefer.....

Actually I am really not sure about that. I love the Roots Radics. It is hard to say. The version I heard first was the sly and robbie version.
