Re: wailers as a backing band
Greetings,
The Wailers also backed up Israel Vibration's second album, "Unconquered People". They backed up Burning Spear on "Hail Him". They backed up Joe Higgs on "Blackman Know Yourself".
Here's a website for Olive Grant (aka Senya, aka Ta-Teasha Love) that was set up before she passed away:
www.sehiya.50megs.com
Respect!

Re: wailers as a backing band
thanx for the inputs. Indeed they appear with loads of musicians but full albums are rarer.
Anyone knows how they chose the obscure singers they backed (Lulu, Jahmel, Iya Karna, etc.), were they friends ?
Any info about those singers ?

Also Oku Onuora is back by the wailers...And almost all the productions of TuffGong were backed by some of them if not all..
