I think it's the case that non-Jamaicans can hear 'hoe' as 'ho' (i.e. slut/prozzie) and get the wrong idea about the song.

its a poor attempt at a double entendre i feel. all the words you highlighted above are far stretches for analogies for making love especailly when followed by "all night long".

thats why this topic has hit 3 pages! I know its a form of cricket in Jamaice but thought I'd mention the Jamaican woman here in the office has never even heard of it, but says the song is about making love.
