Hypothetical Question about Aswad

Hello fellow reggae fans,
I just have a hypothetical question for you...
If you could have the chance to see Aswad at a special concert for only 100 people, how much would you pay? This is if you get free drinks, and meet the artist/get pictures with the artist/get your name on the back of the DVD of the recorded event.

Which Aswad? Pre '84/85, or after? And will I get the t-shirt?

I would pay 30 quid, but only if the concert was only pre 'distant thunder', LP!!! None of that commercial stuff. Aswad's 'live and direct', album was legendary, the live version of 'your recipe' was sheer genius. To hear that live would be an experience.

have you seen Aswad live performance of Distant Thunder?
I got the VHS, still top form, rootsman style all the way, I agree, the album is far from their early sound, but I still love it, and all the technology used in said album was translated to roots feelin in live performance, check it. It's on U-Tube

No doubting Aswad are a great live band, i WILL check out that Distant Thunder Live set, thanks for pointing it out.
