Wings of a dove original track

Greetings
Can someone please help me to identify who frist sang wings of dove i now many artist have done that track but don't now who was the frist to sing that song, is't prince buster, bob marley the wailers or blue buster can anyone help.

Mento artists even before the above mentioned singers had recorded this I believe. It's probably an old JA folk song? But I think it might be based on an old spiritual song?

This traditional song got the early Ska treatment in 1966 when Justin "Phillip" Yap's WIRL (Top Deck/Dr. Bird) issued a version by The Gaytones on the (Skatalites) 'Top Sounds From Top-Deck Records'/'Ska-Boo-Da-Ba' album.

I believe Carlos Malcom's ska version pre-dates The Yap version.
