name that tune
the lyrics from what i can remember are. give i man a cocoa/coconut? natty general so i can burn jah jah herbs in a it...it gives me sweet meditation takes i man away.as i search all around this a atmosphere..looking for a brighter day..then went into a wicked dub..heard it years and years ago joey j or manasseh played it on kiss fm please help.thank you

It's a long shot and a lotta listening as I am finding out! - I am also looking for a tune probably heard on a Mannaseh show too.....I'm sure I have it on cassette tape somewhere!

Hey no problems.
I'm chuffed to have found the manasseh site - it's taken me right back, if made me feel old! I can't believe it was 20 years ago I listened to the shows first time around.
I've started a thread on here for the tune I am looking for, it's got these lyrics:
"There is a green land, far far away, without a city wall"
It isn't a version of the well known satta massa gana, with similar lyrics, which is what most leads come up with. But I am enjoying the search! Good luck with yours.

hi ellie well i would have given the same reply as dwick the only other of the top of my head would be the abyssinians satta massa gana which you say is not it.if i do find/rembmer the song in question i will get back to you thanks for the help.oh and hijack away no problem here lol.all the best ps i would have a listen to yabby you jesus dread (2cd) on the blood and fire label. was it a singer or dj/toaster if you can remember?it couldn't be big mountain baby i love your way could it?
