Tappa Zukie tune ID

Post by RasLeroy »

What is the original version on the "Simpleton Badness" riddim from Tappa Zukie's Man Ah Warrior album?

Algoriddim and other sites list it as Llloyd Parks' "Slaving", but it isn't.

I know I've got another version of the riddim somewhere, and it's driving me mad not knowing what it is!

Hi Leroy, the original is Lloyd Parks' "Ordinary Man", a Randys production.

the original is a late 1960s tune with the title miss haywire.. but forgot the artist. even before the lloyd parks version.

Yes Lloyd Parks "Ordinary Man" was what I was trying to remember.

And how could I have forgotten Impact All Stars "Ordinary Version Chapter 3"! "See the bass button there - Forward the bass..."

Nuff respect for the replies.

I'll believe this when I see it (or hear it!)
