The first time Israel Vibration went to the studio to record was with Hugh Boothe, producer of the legendary Fred Locks’ ‘Black Starliner album and they recorded two songs. (This first session was actually booked for Fred Locks but Boothe brought Israel vibration along as well.) The first tune they recorded was entitled ‘Baldhead Impressionist’ or ‘Bad Intention’. The second tune they recorded was the original cut to ‘Why Worry’ which was later released on the Twelve Tribes of Israel Orthodox label. The first song was never released, only cut as a dubplate for the Jahlovemuzik soundsystem.
Like so many other songs, the tape was lost for 30 or more years. Boothe recently found it and was fortunately able to run it off and make the tune available to the world. This tune will soon be released on the original Jahlovemzuk label and available to the public for the first time ever.
