The great keyboard & bass player, hard worker for so many Producers. Winston can be seen on "Deep Roots" with so many other legendary Artists in Studio.
Winston & Jackie Mittoo were good friends.Plenty of work not always credited to Winston "Brubeck" So many including Jackie said Winston is in the same league as each other.
Winston had heart problems later in his life. Born 1944, died 1993.
My listing is on http://www.blackechoes.net/memoriam.htm
I haven't been able to include latter loses but I will be moving it somewhere else to keep update.

Never knew he played bass. He can also be seen playing flute along with Tommy McCook on Sax and Skully on drums in another excellent scene in the Deep Roots series.

Hi,

Yes Winston with Tommy lovely. Winston was with Tommy in Rock Steady time the Supersonics.

The first album that shows a credit to Winston on Bass is the classic "Heart of the Congos"

Deep Roots was a great series wasn't it?
