Which Jah Shaka records are the best, which should I buy?

It depends on what kind of Shaka style you're after. If it's the music with live band and no to very little digital instrumentation I would recommend any of his albums on Roots Archives wholeheartedly.
My top three of those sets I would say are:
Jah Shaka - Kings Music
Twinkle Brothers - The Right Way
Vivian Jones - Jah Works
If you're after his later digital productions I would recommend albums such as:
Twinkle Brothers - Rasta Surface
Icho Candy - Glory to the King
Dread & Fred - Ironworks 1 (which isn't Shaka production per se).
But the longer he went on the more boring his music is I would say.

Thanks for the info Kalcidis.
What about his dub releases, which can be recommended (both digital and real instruments)?
I see on discogs that side B of Kings Music is dub
One of the few Jah Shaka records I've got is Authentic Dubwise (Jah Shaka meets Fire House Crew), and I really like this one

Hi!
Check some dub stuff like:
Commandments Of Dub (i love chapter 5 [1986]);
Dub Masters (in vol.1 there is "Very Well" classic of Wailing Soul that I love and "Mosman Skunk" of Aswad both previously released on respectively albums)
For vocal stuff I would reccomend:
Vivian Jones - Jah Works [1987] too;
Junior Brown - Fly Me Away Home [1984]
Anyway here http://shaka.reggaeclub.org/albums.html you can check the Shaka discography with explanation of every albums so you can check the style you prefer!
Bye!
