After years of being nagged at by the wife, I finally got round to tidying the loft this weekend.I'm now glad I did. I came across 37 7" releases from the 60s, 70s and 80s that I genuinely thought had long been lost. The bizarre thing is, I've moved several times since I thought I'd lost them so somehow the must have been packed without any one noticing.
They're a mix of uk and jamaican releases and include
Night of Love - Ansell Collins/Copy Cat Derrick Morgan
Homeward Bound Freddy McGregor
Frankenstein - Ringo
Deep in the Dark - Barrington Levy
A Live Injection - Upsetters/Everything for Fun - The Bleechers
Return of Django/Dollar in the Teeth - The upsetters
Straight and Narrow Way (Wailers Cover) Winston Wonder
Give me a little more - Carlton and The Shoes
General Penitentiary - Black Uhuru (Original Taxi)
Diana the Farmer - Sharpknife
Soldier Take Over - Yellowman and Fathead
Keep the Faith - Leroy Smart.
Plus many more
I'd really given up hope of finding all of these again, so its a bit like buying for the first time. I can re-live my youth!
Needless to say, I know what I'm going to be doing this week.
A pleasant surprise

Re: A pleasant surprise
Good to hear! Gives me a bit hope since I've lost a couple of records lately. Hopefully I'll find them too some day
Don't know all of the songs but many of those I do are real treats.
