As years go by, looking back, this is my favorite reggae format
Re-issues or new roots, can you please list your pick for this year so far?

new:
Milton Henry - Let Go the Ego (Ikoro) 12"
I'm not as fond of the A-side but "Let Go the Ego" is one of the freshest sounding roots productions I've heard in some time. I don't think I can name another tune in the flyers style that sounds this jazzy. Milton Henry still sounds great too.
reissue:
Tony Brutus - Water Pistol (Intense/Pressure Sounds) 12"
An edifying tune about the security benefits of a squirt gun, sung over a murthering rub-a-dub rhythm. Finger gun style dun dead already!
