Looking for more reggar artist to play on the radio!
Hey i am having my own radio show two hours a week and i am trying to build up a collection of really mellow traditional style reggay! Early styles like the wailers, peter tosh, the itals, burning spear. If any one has any recommedations let me know. Thanks Carl

Re: Looking for more reggar artist to play on the radio!
There are loads of them. Most early Studio 1, Treasure Isle, Wackies and ClockTower cover anything from Ska, through Rocksteady to Roots.
Ethiopian - Everything Crash: awesome album
Johny Clark - Rootsy Reggae
Bob Andy's early stuff (although "Bob Andy Lots of Love and I", 1977, is sweet and soulful too)
Slim Smith
The Paragons
The Termites
Horace Andy - "In the Light", "Sings for you and I"
Check out soem stuff on Trojans "Upsetter" label: Busty Brown, etc, etc
Hope this helps.
Cheers
