anyone know the lyrics to this song, or what it's about? I do remember reading something a while ago about it being based on a children's game/song called "Emmanuel Road" ? also, why does this song appear on the Kung Fu: Reggae meets the Martial Arts compilation?

my take on lyrics -

hey, so you've come back to mash up the place, heh?

i seh fi -
Dub the music, dub the music, what a music beat
Rock the music, skank the music, lord this a music sweet
Come we go down Emmanuel Road, fi bruk rock stone
Finger mash, finger mash, lord we no cry(?)

Remember that there is a place (?)
So don't you get uptight
Finger mash, finger mash
Lord this a dub must crash(?)

????
A bruk rock stone
Sweety Charlie ???
Clothes on di wire, riddim on di fire
Nine days old (?)
Some like it hot, some like it cold
Some like it with soul

???
A wreck up the land
??? children ???
???

When ??? dropping ???
Lord it's time to go

Dub the music, dub the music, what a music beat(?)
Rock the music, skank the music, this a music sweet
When ??? drop inna yard ???

??? ding a ling... ???????????
???? this ding a ling
??? i-ficially
When ??? dropping inna ring
