Tafari History (Wackies comp)

Post by Roots Archives »

Does any one know if this release ( http://www.roots-archives.com/release/4946 ) actually exists?
It looks a bit dodgy to me. ;)

Hi Seb,

Good to see you. I read your message on the spam thread. I will await your message. ;)
Now are you saying you have this particular release? Is it with the same cover? If so, could you make me a proper scan or photo?

Say hi to Mat for me. :)

Hi Jason,
As I am currently working on a Bullwackie discography, maybe you can enlighten me:
Is the cover the same?
Can you give me matrix and sleeve info?

Thx

I bought it when it first came out from Ernie B's - a legitimate release - although not many pressed.

The cover is the correct one. The back sleeve seems to suggest its actually a picture of Munchie (unless its just a picture taken by him!)

The back sleeve also has pictures of the record labels "Sunshine" and "Andre Records". If I recall George Faiths "Guideline" which is included came out on a US Sunshine 12".

As you ask for the matrix numbers I assume this album came out on LP as well. RA is only listing a CD.
If so, what year the LP was issued? Same cover? Wackies label?

PS: Great idea to work on a Bullwackie discography!
