Bag O Wire Question
I have just read on an old forum that " Bag O Wire " is the same album as " Dubb Everlasting / Everlasting Dubb " but with re-titled tracks. Curious ... Is this true ?

Yeah. They are the same (Dubb Everlasting and Bag-O-Wire). I don't have the other one so no clue there.

Kalcidis , a big thank you for clearing up this enigma ! It's been bugging me for ages , having seen " Dubb Everlasting " going for big bucks on auction sites , I went and got a copy of "Bag O Wire " in mint condition of Discogs recently . Effectively then , there are four versions of this album .... High Note , Klik , Epic and Roots Music Intl

I would say 3 versions, because the Epic issue is just a later pressing of Bag O Wire.AnorakTrev wrote:Kalcidis , a big thank you for clearing up this enigma ! There are quite a few different versions of the same Dub records. Would be worth a thread on its own.

Jayb; do please listen to it and check. At least my copies are the same music. I think the intros might be slightly different if I remember correctly; B-O-W perhaps had fade ins on a song or two while ED had the original drum intros.

Re: Bag O Wire Question
I have both albums, they're the same tracks remixed. BAW mixed at King Tubbys, and DE or ED Mixed at Treasure Isle.
