Scratch The Upsetter YouTube Channel

Post by Ron »

In a run-up to my new updated Upsetter Discography, which is due in the next couple of months, I have started an [Upsetter YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/user/ScratchTheUpsetter)
of my own at https://www.youtube.com/user/ScratchTheUpsetter

Releases in my discography are now easily linked to the actual song in my YouTube channel, which makes both the discography as the channel more complete than ever.

Obviously Lee Perry’s Black Ark output is the most favourite music for most people and a great deal of my music *video’s* will feature this type of music. However, I will also post *Pre-Ark* and *Post-Ark* music on the channel, as well as rhythm related songs.

Please have a look and if you want to stay updated, make sure to subscribe. This is just the beginning. ;)

For those of you more interested in Bullwackies, have a look at:

Though I must add, my Wackies channel isn’t as active as my Upsetter channel at the moment. This will definitely change once I start updating my Bullwackies discography.

the links to the original copies is an inspired idea, had a look through them and decided I like the reggae version better on all of them

It still is a work in progress. The playlist *Original copies* was initially compiled for myself as a reference. Jeremy Collingwood has listed originals in *Kiss Me Neck* as well, which I haven't added yet.
I must say, the songs in the playlist aren't necessarily the originals. I'm not all too familiar with that type of music, so in some cases even those 'originals' aren't exactly the proper original, if you know what I mean.

I also compiled a *Black Ark Recorded* playlist, though that list is not accurate. It was again, a reference for myself, call it a checklist.

That's exactly what i tought of yesterday listening to "I shall be released".
Wondering if you posted those because you knew they were the ones scratch got his inspiration from, or if they were just random versions.
Well I guess that would be so tricky to compile anyway. Those versions will do just fine!
I also had done this research for "To Be A Lover LP" and ended up with the same versions as you've got.

I was watching a movie some time ago and while the credits were running the song *I Shall Be Released* by The Band came up.
I thought it was a pretty good version personally, so I added it to this list. ;)
