Does anyone know this DJ album: The One -Eyed Giant.
Sleeve notes claim he lost his eye in a factory accident.
To my ears he sounds like I Roy. Same delivery, same lisp.
Any thoughts?

AKA King Sighta. Yes the similarity to I Roy has been remarked on. He only had one LP and 2 or 3 singles.
There has been some confusion caused by a miscredit on a 7" single. King Oney (Raphael Stewart) also had a song called Master Of All which was completely different to Sighta's DJ cut. For some reason the King Oney 7" showed the Artist as King Sighter which led people to link Sighta (Sighter) and Oney.

Re: King Sighter
Just noticed that there is a CHANAN JAH 12" single (cj1002), produced by Phil Pratt, that was released in the UK in 1979 with King Sighta & Kingstonians-"Another Scorcher" on the B side.
The rhythm is a Kingstonians medley with Sighta/Sighter toasting. There's a copy on ebay at the moment with a sound sample but not the complete track. I can hear Singer Man in the bit thats on there but not Another Scorcher.
Can't find my copy of Master of All at the moment. Does anyone know if the track on Master of All titled "Another Scorcher" is the same medley?

Answering my own question now. Just heard it on YouTube and it is the same with the "Another Scorcher" bit of the medley at the end.
