"brigadier sabary"(meaning pardon me,have mercy on me brigadier:he was caught and beat up during a patrol)in dioula, one of the many languages in ivory coast.it is on"jah glory"his debut lp recorded in ivory coast with the natty rebels who were no other than the ivorian tv players.it was back in 1983,as the imple evocation of it tkes me to a trip down memory lane
