Help ID Jack Ruby's audition

Hi

This vid features a vocal trio from the 70's trying to convince Jack Ruby with there song.
I just stick to this material since three days... This tune is just a killer, Jack would have been crazy don't give dem a try in studio.

Have you ever heard a version of it? Maybe you recognize the singers?

Was thinking of Cultural Roots. Possible?

Respect

Hi! I was killed too the first time I saw this session and searched all around for infos on the band... but...
Wrong... not cultural roots...

This session is taken from Mickey Dread's DEEP ROOTS docu... and the question about who is this trio and if the tune was released is still open and was widely discussed on Blood and Fire...

Actually its thought that the group was never recorded and that the song is unreleased... But I discovered something that Im 99% certain is from them...

Its a 70's recording on FOX (Jack Ruby's label...) and the voice stick quite well... The song is really close to this one, I immediately did the link... But is not exactly the same and lyrics change. I planned to post a topic with a recording of it to have others opinion but cant actually, as Im workin oversea for a few month. Will do this in January...

If Im not wrong... the lead singer's artist name is SYLVESTER MORGAN...

more to follow....

Hey, we've got a great detective here!
I'm allright for saying that the voices sound quiet similar also according to the fact that syvester morgan has two other singers by his side. Witch matches to the vid... More over, if the producer of Sylvester is Jack Ruby, we're getting closer
Nice intuition on this one!

To be totally sure, we should wait until one of them read the discusse and helps us personnaly like Kiddus I did :)

No idea neither for the dua afterward
