Various Artist Compilations

Hey hey, just wondering if anyone had suggestions on some crucial "various artist" LPs to add to the collection?

Preferences are late 70's early 80's productions, wit heavy riddims and strong vocals. Maybe some harmonies too? Any suggestions?

There's plenty of various artist stuff... some really nice compilations on label's like Freedom Sounds, Corner Stone, Wackie's and Jah Shaka to name a few...

But of course my favorite ones are from Augustus Pablo ROCKERS stable....

Rob, are you looking for vinyl or CDs?

I have a box of various artists LPs, of varying quality. If it is vinyl you seek I will list them with comment. But they are NOT for sale, this is as a guide only.

Try also the various greensleeves sampler LPs for early 80s stuff. I don't have any of these but the track listings would suggest they are worth getting and they go pretty cheaply, there are also now available new from Greensleeves now - although only the first few are earlier 80s stuff -
