My Own Special Wish List for 2007

For those of us that don't have the ability to track down and purchase older vinyl copies of albums, I am starting this wish list for anyone who wants to chime in about what CD re-issues they would like to see in 2007. Maybe some smart label will take heed!

Here are my top choices:

Sylvan White- Africans Unite
Viceroys- Brethren & Sistren, Chancery Lane, We Must Unite
Gladiators-Naturality
Michael Prophet-Consciousness
Earl 16- Reggae Sound
Joe Higgs- Unity is Power and Triumph

All of these CDs would be very welcome additions in my home. Let me know if you agree or what your picks would be.

Thanks for the info. Do you have any suggestions for which reggae shops that might carry them?
I usually use reggaecd.com, ernie b's, and bigupradio. Where else should I look? Much Thanks.

I got a chance to look at those stores. They have a lot of great albums. None of the CDs on my list are available, however. Guess i will just have to hope they are re-issued soon or that I do run across available copies if they do turn up.

If anyone else knows if any of the CDs on my list are available let me know. I know that the Viceroys material has been available on the Sankofa label but I have been unable to locate copies for sale.

When I first started buying reggae again a little while back I used www.sternsmusic.com, 101cd.com for CDs and also iTunes music store (for downloads) where there was a surprising amount of reggae on offer if you had the time to hunt it down!
