My favorite three books are (in no particular order)

King Jammys by Beth Lesser

Reggae Inna Dance Hall Style by Tero Kaski & Pekka Vuorinen (focuses on Junjo and the Volcano posse!)

More Axe 1, 8 (I haven't read #7) by Ray Hurford.

Unfortunately only King Jammys has been reissued and is available in the stores. More Axe #1 can still be bought from the author though. Send me a PM for connections.

The Black Star posse yuh large 'bout yah!

Bass Culture, Lloyd Bradley. Reggae music & culture
Solid Foundation,David Katz. Reggae music & history
People Funny Boy,David Katz. LEE PERRY bio
Reggae Bloodlines, Steven Davis. Reggae music & culture.

I also have 2 books of colour photos taken on the set of the ROCKERS film.
One is hardcover & the same size as a dvd box.
It was part of a box set that was sold in Japan with the DVD and a cloth movie poster and badge.
The other is much larger but has fewer photos.

available via uplink Japan

Jah Glu; They're strictly interviews/articles with a whole heap of artists. The first one has interviews with Augustus Pablo,Gregory Isaacs, Jah Woosh, The Morwells, Dennis Alcapone, Clive Chin, Prince Far I, The Twinkle Brothers, Sly Dunbar & King Tubby.

Ranking Trevor; I hope you find it. Certainly one of the nicest reggae books I've read.

I also read
Bass Culture, Lloyd Bradley. Reggae music & culture. A bit of a long read but goes in depth on alot of events that effected the music (politically and socially) as well. History of the island, the people.
