It is indeed jacob miller but the song is I am a rastaman. You could find this tune on heartland reggae video during one outdoor concert. The song has the riddem of bob marley's i am rebel soul rebel song.
give thanks.

Re: tune request...
hmmm...
maybe its jacob miller, i thought the same! but "this" tune is definetly not "i am a rastaman", because i got that jacob miller tune on vinyl (and its indeed on the bob marley riddim you told)!
it must be something, that you can only get as dubplate, i think this tune is never released...
thanks so far, but...
anything else...?

Re: tune request...
Hi (sorry for my poor english). I think that this song is "Run For Cover" by Bob Marley & The Wailers + The Upsetters. Recorded ca. 1970/71 & produced by Lee Perry. I saw this track first time in my life in 1997 when it was issued on disc 3 of "Complete Wailers 1967-72 Vol.2" Box Set which was released by JAD/KECH records.
[following is excerpt from booklet of that compilation]... Recorded over the same rhythm track as "Soul Rebel", these slightly diferent lyrics display the group's newly polished self image. "Run for cover. Wailers taking over!" they boast, in the manner of the DJ artists who were coming on the scene at this point. "Sticky" Thompson joins the Upsetters band on percussion.
You can listen a sound sample of that song from amazon.com. Following is straight link to WINDOWS MEDIA sample.
