I have some comments on the Lee Perry Psyche & Trim CD produced by Hallmark.
It is very poorly made. The track listing is incorrect - it starts with Soul Fire. After track 4 (scratch walking) there are a few seconds of Tighten Up. The sound level gets louder at track 7 (Dyon Anaswa). What a shame I contacted Hallmark but they didn't reply.

yes, the track listing is a pain.
hallmark is a budget, there was many reggae releases at that time, ie yellowman, the skatalites ,etc. the lee perry psyche & trim may have some covered tracks from other albums, but as a whole, for just listening purposes its okay. i have many perry releases. i think i like this a lot. i have listen to it many times, so it aint that bad.
a stand out track for me is "throw some water in".

Why would you buy the bootleg version when you can get the real thing?

Hallmark pirates who have no care who or what they release so long as its cheap and sells thats their whole buzz unless its on a decent label stay away from it but in saying that if you find something thats on a label like this that you cant get anywhere else i guess you have to buy it a good example would be items from labels like Clocktower/Abrahams they have some great music but totaly rubbish pakageing etc so as they say BUYER BEWARE.
