Children children where have you been
the emperors knocking so let him come in
in your heart and soul la la la (repeat)
They took us away from Africa
far far far from Jamaica

and even today we don't get no pay
but we couldn't run away no no no

and now we see a brighter day
thats what the emperor say

Re: Lyrical assistance II
Song one should be Tony Tuff - Rumours of war, same riddim as Symbols' Motherless children.

yeah actually song 1 is the deejay cut by Jah stitch called Dragon Snake & Spider / Record City 7"
or you can get both the vocal & deejay cut on the Art & Craft 12"! (no dub though)
and little additional info:
the dubs on the tony tuff 7" (Gorgon) & the Jah stitch 7" (Record City) are the same mix (and also the same mix as Stitch toasts over on his cut)
