Roast Fish Collie Weed & Corn Bread....comment/question
just got this record, and it's a great one. here's the thing though on some tracks like "ghetto sidewalk" it sounds like scratch is speeding up and slowing down the tape! i thought the cd was fucked up,but it was most likely sctrach and his genius at work again. what do you think? anyone know of recording techniques used on that LP?

Hi there melonhead,
Is it just a streched master tape?Scratch was known to re-use his 4-track tapes again and again ,either down to cost or not having enough tapes to lay his music down on.

Hi, is it the VP release? because I had that one too and I have heard many heads say it this is because the source was a really bad off centre pressing. The edition that appears on the newly released Ape-ology on Trojan sounds much better.
