Whatever happened to Gold?

Don Carlos his singing partner in the 80's was Gold. On the album cover of Seven Days A Week one can read that Gold was seriously hurt in a robbery attempt in Washington DC.
Does anyone know how Gold is doing? I cannot find any information about this brother on the internet.

Through the years Gold has been in I meditation. Check out a classic Don Carlos album and this man Gold is part of the vibes! They were like brothers on a mission, seen?!
You think it's easy to contact Don Carlos or Dr.Dread?

what i've read gold suffered a stroke some years ago

there was that robbery as well, as mentioned, he got partly paralyzed from the stroke i think

Yeah thats true, becuase Gold cant sing, he just improves Don Carlos voice. But i give him props for the "Heads of Government" though killer roots.

yes, Gold is now paralyzed and they had to amputate him an arm. Too sad...
