im wondering if anybody loves roots reggae instrumentals as much as i do. please feel free to give recomendations on any artists/albums
NOT DUB! im talkin dry mix instrumentals
i have found it the hardest to collect instrumentals due to their unpopularity especially in roots reggae.

Re: any recomendations for roots instrumentals?
I totally forgot - I had the DJ play Jackie Mittoo's Rocksteady Wedding for our reception introduction music.
Double hit 45 Return of Django b/w Dollar in the Teeth by the upsetters is a big hit.
I also have Don Drummond - 100 years on lp, lots of good instrumentals, and who can forget the Skatalites renditions of Guns of Navarone or El Pussycat Ska?
Check out Trojan instrumentals, there's a bunch of good tracks on it.

Re: any recomendations for roots instrumentals?
awsome, thanks for all the feed back, i have many of these titles you guys mentioned.
alot of these titles are rocksteady era, i am looking for deep roots instrumentals. i have a couple albums
tommy mccook-top secret
bobby & tommy- green mango
downbeat the ruler-killer instrumentals from studio one
sound dimension-jamaica soul shake
and the trojan instrumentals box set
all are good titles but some have too many ska tunes on them, especially the trojan box set.
