I was just looking at the KTW Dub LP by Jr. Dan following my question about the compilation LP on another post and saw the Clappers label. I have "Jack Ruby Hi-Fi" and "Black Slavery Days" on this label and I've always thought the label graphic was "interesting", it looks like a youth holding a gun(?), I think, but interestingly, when you get to the General Plough LP on Clappers, the gun is gone.....

Yeah...!! Never saw that... Dont know if its for a moral purpose... Agree with you the label logo is really nice but a bit agressive... Dont kow if it really symbolise a "youth"... This kind of ting never seemed to happen in JA in the 70s, while in US it was probably more the militant fashion... I guess so. Maybe they removed the gun cause the times were more quiet... or censored!
