You may be starting to guess that I am a big roots lovers fan!

This was one of my first ever reggae LPs (probably the third or fourth reggae LP I bought back in the late 70s) and I still love it to this day:

...and don't forget the brilliant Lee Perry production by the Jolly Brothers, "Conscious Man". There's a brilliant extended version on 12 inch 45.

My choice goes to a killer 12"
"the closer I get to you" by west 9 (????never heard about it)on the B.B label (uk)
it's a crucial roots stepper lover's rock extended discomix with melodica..;Baddddddd
