Justin Hinds R.I.P.
A great one, my all time favorite reggae artist, has passed on. I was hoping that one day I might get a chance to see him live, or that he might release a new album of original, rootsy music. But it is not to be. Nevertheless, he has left us some of the greatest ska and reggae ever recorded, a legacy through which he will live forever.

This is really bad news. I heard he was diagnosed cancer just a few weeks ago.

Did you know he was director of the Alpha Boys School as well? I believe he was touring in Europe last February.

yes he was touring with the Jamaica Allstars but was not in the last gigs, I know why now ...
