Munich Records Question

I have 3 releases: Jah Jah Dreader than Dread, Nightfall Showcase, and Roots Tradition from the Munich Records label.
Does anyone know more about this label? They seemed to be based out of Germany, Made in Holland, and distributed(?) out of Austin, Texas? I know Steve Barrow did some of their liner notes.
ANy info like: were they affiliated with Greensleeves? Is the branch of the label called "Majestic Reggae" still around? Who owned the label/ what ties dd they have to early dancehall? would be greatly appreciated.

Munich Records is a Dutch (!) based record label.
The label is still around, check their site http://www.munichrecords.com.
As far as i know there is/was no direct link with Greensleeves (as no direct link with B&F and Heartbeat).

Btw - all releases in this serie are worth checking.

Thanks everyone for the info. I've been wondering about this label for a while.

Rootsman-Interestingly, I did purchase the Triston Palma CD several months ago. It was listed for around $5 on Amazon. I made the mistake of using a visa gift card which did not go thru for some reason. Amazon re-listed the disc and by the time I received the e-mail it had been sold to someone else. I do have: Joker Smoker, Touch Me Take Me, and Showcase. I believe the tracks on the Munich CD are re-named but are mostly on these albums. However, I bet the Munich disc's sound quality is better. Also, I don't have the Jah Thomas DJ tracks. I'll keep trying to find a copy (for less than the $30 price it is currently listed for).

Is the Scientist CD as good as his Greensleeves LPs?

The Scientist is also good but I found the sound quality does vary throughout the disc.

they also did 12", single CDs, LPs (reggae, folk...)

As for me I like the Papa San album "The Sistem" 1990, strong production from Gussie Clarke et Jack Scorpio.
