Re: Prince Far I - Psalms of David 7"
From what i remember (i dont have a turntable to check).
They must of put the wrong label on the record. i have both tell me why and pslams of david, they are what they say on the label. i got mine in about 2003 when they first repressed it.
I dont know if your near the flyover at honest johns or have bought anything off them before, but if you dont wantthe record bought thinking it was another tune cos of the mislabelling, then go back and change it, i dont know how they work there if you need a reciept, but i dont think its an issue its just a straight swap.
But then again you might have bought it over the internet which makes it more differcult to change the record.
Hope this is some help. I`m sure someone else will give you a guide as well.
All the best.
Peace

The dub of "Psalms of David" is on one of Prince Far I's dub album "Cry Tuff Dub Encounter 4"; it's called "Stone African Ground". One of my favourite basslines ever.

You should also get this LP.
http://www.roots-archives.com/release/682
(Psalms For I)
Crucial stuff and my favourite Far I vocal LP. Oh OK, so is Heavy Manners
Not too easy to find the original LP, although not too expensive when it comes up on the second original Carib Gems release - but the VERY first release with a BLACK label is rare.
Now also available on reprint CD.
