Are the following 2 albums, which I believe are Lee Perry Productions, worth picking up.
Both are various artist compilations
1, Rastafari Liveth in the Heart of Everyone Itinually.
2, Produced and Directed by the Upsetters.
Any comments welcome.

I think you should get both. Almost everything produced by Lee Perry from the seventies is worth picking up.
On the Rastafari Liveth... you have one of the few songs by the great Watty Burnett.
The songs on Produced by... are followed the the dub versions which is nice.

Hey People I just heard that Mike Brooks got a LP which is called living my culture. The backings are on the first LP Upsetter Riddims. Can you tell me which Riddims are that?

I agree with Capp. Most all Scratch's 70's production are crucial.
Produced is a wicked compliation IMO. One of my favorite Scatch comps. Every tune is Well Rough IMO. Hightlights for me include:
"Phillistines on The Land"-a next cut to his "Police & Thieves" with Chinna working out on the Dub.
"Zion"/"Zion Dub"-This riddim is used by Dr Alimantado for "Just the Other Day" & "The Gun".
"Backbiting"/"Chastising Dub"-one of Winston Heywood's few tunes for Scratch (along with "Africa" & "Long Long Time").
"Financial Crisis"/"Financial Dub"-Wicked Roots from the Silvertones.
RASTAFARI LIVETH is Crucial as well:
"4 And 20 Dreadlocks"/"Dreadlocks Dub"- beautiful & rare Single.
"Rise & Shine"/"Shining Dub"
"What A War"/"What A Dub" - A couple of nice Watty Burnett Tunes
Can't go wrong with either of these.
Ites,
Papa D

Greetings My Friends..
Being somewhat of a Lee Perry fanatic, I would have to agree that each of these compiliations is a must have. I would like to point special attention to the one track by the Silvertones titled 'Financial Crisis'. It contains a more sparse, driving riddim (roots) than that of the Studio One original, but in my opion, comes together perfectly. I really wish that the Silvertones recorded more tracks that followed this format (or maybe they have that I don't know about?). "There's Better Ways of Living.... SO. Fighting Your Brothers Everyday... Don't Let Jah Down" -- Silvertones, Financial Crisis. This track is so infectious, that I had to take a few months off from listening to it. Thank you.

Picked up the compilations as recommended, also Lee Perry and Friends "Open the Gate". All 3 fantastic.
Thanks for the informative feedback.
